This idea is very simple.

We’re looking at Great Lakes Dredging & Docks Corporation…

Why?

Well, it fits the momentum criteria, firstly (as an aside, we will be making this a separate product to the £6.99 Fink premium subscription soon since the ideas have been so successful)…

But also, there’s a funny thing that is very specific to dredging in the US.

It’s kind of a political football…

See back in 2019, Trump instated a rule that meant rivers could be dredged more in the US…

The change reverses a 25-year-old policy, allowing coastal communities to take sand from protected ecosystems to rebuild beaches washed away by hurricanes.

Check out the chart — you can see the rally really kicked on in 2019.

In my view, this is a non-obvious play on a Trump win, which many might not actually catch onto.

I think we could be first to this idea, in fact!

So what we are looking at here is a momentum play and then regulatory path of least resistance if we are betting on a Trump presidency.
