Anyone looking for a new Fed narrative was left disappointed. Powell is a consistent communicator, and has been very clear throughout this year. Onto Jackson Hole for the next clue.

So much commentary is centred around the Fed being wrong, being forced into action, changing course etc. and it's important to maintain a healthy skepticism and think independently.

Last but not least, the FTSE. Is it finally time for the techless index to catch up to the pack?
